Panzer Assault Badge in Bronze

This panzer assault badge in bronze retains nearly all of the original bronze with some minor areas of zinc.Marked AS on the reverse and a rather rare earlier style variant which was found to have a very fragile catch so production was redesigned and a new hardware combination was released.the catch was broken on this one and repaired.this is the original catch and not a replacement so will be a period repair.produced in zinc.a nice bright example.
